    Overview

Stay on a boat in Bermuda, Bermuda.

Guest Cabin/private bath in historical Royal Naval Dockyard. Several restaurants/pubs, sights to see, & right by the ferry terminal - AND HOME OF THE 2017 AMERICA'S CUP!

You will be on-board a fully functional, well traveled ocean going yacht, which will remain safely in the protected harbor of the historical Royal Naval Dockyard for your visit :) One of the perks is enjoying a drink on the bow, or upper bridge at the end of the day, or the same with coffee in the morning. This may well be a great home base for your Bermuda excursion. With the ferry terminal right across the water, launching to other parts of the island will be a breeze.

Like to stand up paddle board or rent mountain bike or moped? Right next door. Guests will have their own private double bed and small bath, and use of interior/exterior public areas.

Your host will be aboard in the stern cabin at the opposite end of the vessel, lower deck. This is separated from your guest room by the engine room, giving everyone a little extra privacy. The common areas are on the mid and upper decks. I find this allows us to give good attention to guests and has worked out well offering a good balance of social time and privacy/quiet time. Wifi provided free of charge. Bath towels provided - no need to pack. If you haven't had a few swizzles, seen the hall of history painting, or walked horseshoe bay, time for a crash course...let's talk Getting around the island is easy both by public transportation, or moped rental. I'm happy to talk you through it. Ferries are our favorite, fast and comfortable, with the cheapest tour from the water going! Walks or bike rides through what was once the 'railway trail' (and now a greenway) are a not to be missed excursion. If you're a biker we can point you in the right direction. Situated in the historical Royal Naval Dockyard, there are several restaurants, pubs, the worthy maritime museum, and other sightseeing stops. Great area to walk around. There are also some scenic walks/bike rides leaving from the Dockyard. Just ask! Some more info on the surrounding area: • Look at the "Guidebook" on this listing • Search Dockyard Bermuda There are small beaches in walking distance, but the best are a 15min bus ride (direct) away. You are quite literally right at the ferry terminal, bus stops, moped or bicycle rental. It's a 20min high speed ferry ride into the city of Hamilton. Getting around is easy, and I'll help you with copies of schedules, advice, and must see Bermuda stops, both on and off the beaten path. Just ask.. ***From Airport I recommend the ferry to Dockyard. Cheaper and faster than by road, not to mention scenic. From April 21st - Nov 3rd. the St. George Ferry runs too and this may be an option.

One of the perks is enjoying a drink on the bow, or upper bridge at the end of the day, or the same with coffee in the morning. Clearly, this is not a cookie cutter Holiday Inn. If you like funky B+Bs, or want to try something different...this may well be a great home base for your Bermuda excursion. With the ferry terminal right across the water, launching to other parts of the island a breeze.
