    Overview

Stay on a boat in Lymington, United Kingdom.

A beautiful 55ft luxury Italian flybridge motor yacht in one of the best marinas on the south coast.

Italian Job is an Azimut 55. Wonderfully stylish outside and sumptuous comfort inside. 2 fabulous double cabins and a lovely twin with two bathrooms and an amazing saloon make her the perfect getaway.

Fully equipped with everything you need to enjoy a deserved break.

    Layout

Italian Job is a flybridge motoryacht.
You are welcomed aboard via a safe and wide bathing platform into a large cockpit with comfortable seating.
The staircase to the port (left) side leads you up to the flybridge where you can enjoy the sun or simply while your time away.

Back down in the cockpit, step through into the large saloon with it's spacious sofa to port and cupboards, TV etc to starboard. Note that the large round table in the saloon has a section that lifts and swivels as a coffee table.

Step up in to the forward section of the saloon to find a large dining area to starboard and a fully equipped galley and bar area to port. In the fridge you will find bottled water, milk, tea and coffee and just maybe a bottle of Prosecco to welcome you on board.

At the forward end of the saloon is an amazing lower helm or driving position. This is Captain Nick's chair when on charter in more inclement weather. Something straight out of Star Trek the dashboard is quite a sight.

Walk down the stairs and you will find a very comfortable Twin Cabin on the starboard side of the boat. Opposite the twin cabin is the "day heads" which is the main toilet used during the day. This toilet and shower room is also the ensuite to the VIP Cabin which is found at the front of the boat.

If you turn to your right as you descend the main stairs you will find the Master Cabin. This fabulous room includes a beautiful and very comfortable oversized double bed, a dressing table opposite, great views from the portholes and, of course, a large and private ensuite shower room and toilet aft.

In our image library you will find a layout picture that helps you to see where everything is.

Italian Job is perfect for couples, groups and families.
We are a very child friendly boat, but suggest that the boat is not suitable for children under 2 or for little ones not used to sleeping in their own bed yet.

    Welcome aboard Italian Job!

    Onboard

We want you to feel totally at home aboard our yacht.
Please feel free to use any of the facilities you find on-board.

There are TVs in the saloon and two double cabins, two bathrooms with excellent showers. In the bathrooms are vacuflush toilets with a hygienic foot pedal flush system (please be gentle with the pedals).
You will also find a fully equipped galley and bar area for you to enjoy your own drinks.
In the fridge freezer you will find complementary bottled water (tap water is safe to drink, but can have a funny taste), milk and sometimes you may even discover a bottle of Prosecco. Please feel free to help yourself to any of these along with tea and coffee.

We supply freshly laundered towels, sheets, duvet covers and pillow cases for every guest on every stay. If you are staying for a number of days please do talk to us and we can arrange for fresh bedding and towels part way through your visit.
On your departure, please can any towels that have been used simply be left in the shower tray for us to collect. Unused towels can remain hanging or in their cupboard.

Please feel free to explore Italian Job and of course use the cupboards and hanging spaces as your own. You will find our own equipment in some of the spaces as the boat is also enjoyed by us and by guests who book her for day charters.
When exploring or using cupboards please may we simply ask that dashboard switches are not touched and items in cupboards are kept where you see them.

    Have a lovely stay!

    Onsite

Lymington Yacht Haven is one of the nicest and friendliest marinas in the UK. The staff are so helpful and your berth neighbours extremely friendly too.

Up at the main marina building you will find the really rather good Haven Bistro and Bar. From great breakfasts, to a fabulous dinner or simply a coffee or glass of wine, the Bistro is a great place to relax and enjoy the views.
Our BedsonBoard guests are entitled to a 10% discount off dinning at the Bistro - please make sure the staff know that you are a BedsonBoard guest when you make your booking or on arrival.

    The Area

Walk behind the main marina building and you will find a footpath that leads you along a nice and gentle walk by the river into Lymington Town.

The quayside and cobbled streets nearby are very quaint and here on the quay is the perfect place for children to go crabbing or to sit and eat an ice cream from one of the many shops.
Stroll up the cobbles and you will find your way to the main town centre. Saturday see's a fabulous market with some great bargains and one or two not so great bargains to discover. The main streets are full of bars, restaurants and all manner of shops from supermarkets to sailing clothing to some of the best fish and chips around.

Lymington is in the heart of the New Forest National Park.
A five minute drive to the edge of town and you are suddenly immersed in "The Forest". "The Forest" is a term for both the wooded areas and the heaths and moors. All are lovely and worth exploring on foot or by bike. Even us locals fail not to giggle at the baby donkeys or enjoy watching the ponies, cows and even pigs by the road side (and more often than not on the road).
Keep an eye out and you may also see various deer species, foxes, rabbits, hares, reptiles like lizards and even snakes basking on a rock.

Of course, Italian Job is an amazing boat and she is moored right in the centre of one of the UKs most amazing boating destinations. For the most incredible celebration, talk to Captain Nick about a day or half day charter to see the Needles, cruise the bays and inlets, trundle up the Beaulieu River or maybe watch some sailing action. There are some more amazing restaurants that can be visited by boat and Captain Nick can tell you all about them.

    What's special about this boat

Staying aboard Italian Job is like staying in the suite of a fine hotel, but it comes with some boaty quirks that will make you smile.

Boats are a unique way to stay away and Italian Job is a unique and wonderful boat.
