Torquay is a seaside town in Devon, England, part of the unitary authority area of Torbay. It lies 18 miles (29 km) south of the county town of Exeter and 28 miles (45 km) east-north-east of Plymouth, on the north of Tor Bay, adjoining the neighboring town of Paignton on the west of the bay and across from the fishing port of Brixham.
The town's economy, like Brixham's, was initially based upon fishing and agriculture, but in the early 19th century it began to develop into a fashionable seaside resort, initially frequented by members of the Royal Navy during the Napoleonic Wars while the Royal Navy anchored in the bay. Later, as the town's fame spread, it was popular with Victorian society. Renowned for its mild climate (for the U.K.), the town earned the nickname the English Riviera.
The writer Agatha Christie was born in the town and lived there during her early years and there is an "Agatha Christie Mile", a tour with plaques dedicated to her life and work

“Great accommodation in a great location”
Something a bit different to staying in a hotel. Paul was great at communicating re check in etc and the welcome drink and chocolates was a really nice touch. Thanks again.
Lovely stay onboard
Everything you needed was provided. Nice touch with complimentary wine, chocolate and a welcome back of tea, coffee, milk etc. Brilliant hosts. Would definitely return.
Perfect get away! Val was a great host, highly recommend
Outside area, perfect location on the marina. No one overlooks you. Perfect get away! Val was a great host, highly recommend. We will be back. Thank you xx
Everything was truly magical
Everything was truly magical . The boat is moored in the most glorious position . On arrival Paul and Val were superb , very quickly showed us the ropes and then left us in the blissful surroundings . Wine and chocs for a welcome was so thoughtful . Extremely clean and all hygiene extras in place . Definitely re visiting but for longer next time .
From start to finish Paul and his family were excellent! Very good communication prior to arrival, and when we did arrive he was there to meet us. Paul explained everything we needed to know once onboard then left us to it. He had left us a lovely welcome pack which was very nice. When reading through the information sheet that was left for guests we noticed that he did a 2hour trip out with the boat, which we took up on day 2. What a lovely day out, it was great to experience the boat at sea and had a nice afternoon in Brixham. The boat itself is very well looked after and is a pleasure to stay on. Being in Torquay marina it is walking distance to restaurants etc. Thank you!
Sophie and I had a lovely stay on Paul's boat
Sophie and I had a lovely stay on Paul's boat. The boat, especially the top deck, is beautiful- we barely left it the entire time we were in Torquay. It was super clean and well located with lots of shops and restaurants nearby. Paul was really friendly and we really appreciated the welcome pack. It was really handy having milk, coffee etc. already there for us too. Thanks Paul for a great stay :)
The location was fabulous
The location was fabulous, the topbeck was spectacular to sit on when the weather was good. Good kitchen facilities and lovely seating area in lounge.
Beautiful boat with everything you would need in a perfect location. What is not to like :-)
My husband and I stayed for 2 nights for our anniversary and it was perfect! Paul showed us where everything was and explained everything we'd need to know. We took a whole bag of kitchen bits with us and didn't need any of them. There was a welcome bottle of wine and chocolates, milk in the fridge for us, tea and coffee, salt and pepper, bottle opener, washing up liquid and sponge, tea towel, hand soap, hand sanitiser, hand towel and bath towel each etc and all the bits you normally wouldn't think about. It had everything. It couldn't have been in a better location, lovely peaceful setting with some stunning views and right near the town for shops and restaurants. We will definitely book for another stay again.
Me and my fiancé stayed at Bonhomie
Me and my fiancé stayed at Bonhomie for the bank holiday weekend. We had an amazing time, the boat was spotlessly clean. We had everything we needed. The location is outstanding with lots of restaurants to enjoy. We also had a amazing weather and could make use of the flight deck. Would 100% recommend!
“What a great find”

We enjoyed our stay on Paul's boat
We enjoyed our stay on Paul's boat. Its an ideal spot for exploring the area and as the weather was nice we were able to relax on board on the sun deck.
