Stay on a boat in Messac, France
Our Magnifique boat is an ideal choice for parties up to 10.She is one of our biggest canal boat rentals at 14.50 metres (47 feet), the Magnifique is second to none in luxury, comfort and space. Check out a queen of our fleet!
In the rear section of the boat, you’ll find two comfortable cabins with two single beds that convert to double beds. In each is an en-suite bathroom with shower, new electric-flush toilet, and sink. Two luxury staterooms forward have comfortable double beds. These cabins share the boat’s third bathroom, which is equipped with a shower, new electric-flush toilet, and sink.
Wood-effect flooring, wood-tone cabinets and finishes, and plush upholstery create an ambiance of understated elegance. The large picture windows through let in abundant natural light, particularly in the grand saloon.
The saloon is well suited for larger parties, featuring a lavish U-shaped settee and a large dining table that converts to a comfortable bed for two.
The huge kitchen/galley features black granite-effect counters, stainless-steel sink, large gas stove and oven, two spacious electric refrigerators, and plenty of cabinet space for provisions.
The huge sundeck features a large table for alfresco dining and padded seats for comfort.
A music system includes a radio/CD player with MP3/USB connectivity. The sundeck is wired for sound. Each boat also has a flat-screen TV/DVD player (satellite TV is available on some models).
Plentiful closets and other storage make the sleeping cabins free of clutter.
The Marina provides four first-class facility buildings, which include showers, toilets, Laundry, and full disabled facilities.
The base is situated on the Vilaine River, and just a bridge away from the bustling town of Guipry on the other side of the river. The town houses some interesting local churches and has some lovely country tracks perfect for taking a walk and discovering the natural beauty of the region. Messac is also claimed by some to be the place where the abbot Vincent Cawiesel planted potatoes for the first time in France in 1771. Today the town is classified as a ‘green tourist station’ thanks to its excellent tourist and sporting facilities.
The spacious sundeck is a wonderful place to relax and admire the scenery.
