The closest town is Whiteley which has a Cinema, and multiple big name shops including M&S, Next, Topshop and many restaurants which include Frankie and Bennies, Pizza Express and Prezzo.
Further afield you have the New Forest just 30 minutes away and easy access to the Isle of Wight.

What's special about this boat
One of the best locations on the Hamble as the boat is not in a marina so we have views up and down the river and also out to Southampton water to view all the shipping activity in one of the busiest waterways in the world.
Our boat is our pride and joy, she has full teak deck and fully equipped with all mod cons to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

Aggy and Andrew could not have been more helpful and hospitable. The Ocean Glider was a beautiful boat and had everything we needed for a wonderful relaxing weekend. We had fantastic weather too which made our weekend. Thanks so much for everything and we hope to visit the location again very soon.
Ocean Glider is a fabulous place to stay
Ocean Glider is a fabulous place to stay. Well equipped and fantastic views of the River Hamble and the Solent. It has comfy living quarters and beds. Aggy was a great host and kept us well informed throughout our stay too.
5 night break
Myself and my partner spent 5 nights on board. The boat itself is lovely, well kept and clean. Everything we needed was included so no need for own towels and bed linen etc. Cooking on board is not permitted but their are lots of local eating options. Space wise personally I wouldn’t recommend for more than 2 people if staying more than one night. We picked a particularly windy week and the boat did move about a bit as is to be expected but if your prone to travel sickness probably worth taking some tablets with you. Our host Aggy was excellent from start to finish. Her communication is excellent, she is very friendly and we felt we comfortable knowing we would be left alone but if we needed anything she was only ever a phone call or text away. Everything we asked of her during our stay she sorted promptly and with a smile, she is w pleasure to deal with.
