Born Free is a stunning classic style 47 foot wooden yacht with ample character and history to match

Layout

As you slide back the pilot house door and step inside you will find a large pilothouse interior with plenty of head room and lots of glass making this space bright and warm, there is a quarter berth situated to the right and a pull out double to the left. Centrally you will find a fully functioning Galley and opposite dinning table and seating for six. Moving forward you will find the master cabin with (Cosy) double, plenty of locker space and two port holes. towards the bow there is a pump toilet, wash basin and more storage.

Onboard

One pull out double berth, one quarter berth, one (cosy) double berth. A fully functioning galley with gas powered oven, three burner hob, sink and small draw fridge. There is a standard pump flush sea toilet and wash basin as well as ample storage.

Onsite

Neyland marina has fantastic bathroom and shower facilities a short walk from where the boat is berthed. There is also a great restaurant and café located within the marina, In the summer months the marina provides bicycles to hire. There is a picturesque walk following the river inland from the marina.

The Area

Neyland Marina is situated in Pembrokeshire which is famed for it's stunning natural beauty, rugged coastline, unspoiled beaches (Marloes sands voted the most beautiful beach in the uk) 20min drive from the marina approx. There are plenty of restaurants, pubs (seaside and county)and cafes to visit. The market town of Narberth is located 30 mins East, famed for it's boutique shops, cafes and antiques stores. There is ample hiking, fishing, water sports and other outdoors activities available all found within a 10mile radius of the Marina.

What's special about this boat

Many boats these day's are mass produced fiberglass models with little distinctive character, Born free was designed by the famed marine architect William Garden, built in Seattle USA. The boat has spent a lifetime exploring the sea of Cortez, Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean, she's also transited the Panama canal and the great Atlantic ocean. She now resides in Pembrokeshire, another place of great natural beauty.

Thanks James. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay. James is a super host. Took the time to welcome us and ensure we were settled. Born free is a lovely old boat, full of character. Facilities at the marina are excellent. Clean and plenty of hot showers. Would book again. Many thanks.

had great 4 day break on born free with the kids, they played pirates on the deck most of the time, a great adventure had by all. Lovely Marina with a lovely cafe and restaurant, very clean toilet facilities and a peaceful spot but near all amenities.
