A Wonderful Luxury Weekend on the Water

I was celebrating a birthday with 4 girlfriends and stayed on the Kings Ransom for the weekend. Steve was great and contacted me before we arrived to see if we had any questions and to arrange meeting point. He briefed us thoroughly about the boat while serving bubbles which was a welcome surprise. We choose to go out on the water for 2 hours which I recommend, it was a beautiful day and great fun. The yacht is really lovely and great size with several areas to hang out in. Beds were comfortable and having a shower on board was great. Steve recommended the Green Lighthouse Restaurant where we ate in the evening, you just need to get there early to get a table. The staff there were really friendly. The marina was really peaceful with good toilet and shower facilities. In all we had a excellent weekend, we just wanted to stay longer!

Once arriving in Gosport were given clear instructions of where to leave our car and find the boat on the marina. Afterwards the 5 of us were welcomed by a glass of fizz as we came aboard, while Steve explained the rules and the history of the boat which was a nice a touch. We then had a 5 hour boat trip where we found a quiet bay to go swimming, an excellent addition that I highly recommend guests go for. Once returning to the harbour we said goodbye to Steve and headed into town for dinner after a few cocktails. Sleeping in the cabins was super comfy and a great new experience. An outstanding 24 hours, thank you Steve, we’ll definitely be back!
